As we all know, photography is an outstanding visual recording instrument: that allows us to dive into the three-dimensional world portrayed by a picture.  A photograph resembles a moment in time that is captured and stored for later.  My initial introduction to photography began with the Kodak point and shoot disposable cameras, I used to take on vacations as a kid and hurry to the nearest Riteaid one-hour developing store when finished.  Something about the unknown and excitement/patience it takes to wait for the photos to be developed reminded me of Christmas Eve when you're so excited to see whats in store.  For awhile I transitioned to digital but found my photos bland and un-amusing to my eye.  I was critiquing every shot and blasting through the same exact angels and filling memory cards with pictures that frankly sucked.  I thought maybe I need to try a Nikon or a Cannon or a Sony and kept flipping through cameras on Ebay with no true success or passion.  Then I was introduced to the Yashica T4 and it was love at first site.  This restored my interest in film photography and I haven't looked back since.  I am a self-taught film photographer raised in Columbus, Ohio and later relocated to Southern California.  My hope is to convey to my viewers the ideas, experiences and feelings through my photography and love of art.
